Pet Lovers & Craft
March 27th was a meaningful morning centered on our shared interest in pets and community.
Daniela Henao Russo, a new member from Colombia led a session on pet training, combining solid knowledge with a genuine understanding of canine behavior. Her presentation included illustration of her own dog - Zeref - and covered communication, as well as the physical, mental, and emotional needs that contribute to a balanced life for pets.
Deidra joined us online from Guatemala, bringing back the dynamic of our virtual gatherings. She shared her work and participated alongside her two dogs, Oreo & Lucho adding a warm and personal touch to the session.
Participants also worked on creating simple chew toys for small dogs made out of t-shirt fabric. Some completed their pieces, while others were still in progress. The activity created space for exchange, with participants sharing experiences about their pets, including topics such as behavior and separation anxiety. The importance of mental well-being for dogs was also part of the discussion.
At noon, the group continued with a virtual session led by Jacqueline Casanova, former Communications Director. With approximately 31 participants online, she shared insights on monetizing through social media.
It was a well-rounded session, combining learning, hands-on activity, and community interaction.
Thank you to Daniela and Jackie for their contributions. We look forward to continuing these exchanges.
