Colors and Contrasts 2025 - Echoes of Expressions, is an exhibition that brings together images captured during the travels and everyday moments of artists who live in the Greater Washington DC Area. Many of them are members of the IDB Family Association, and as they visit their families or move through the cities of Maryland, Virginia, and DC, they observe the world with sensitivity and intention.
The contrasts of color, light, and composition reveal both the external and the internal — landscapes, reflections, and personal stories that merge into a shared desire to be seen, to feel, and to express. Echoes of Expressions invites the audience to listen with their eyes to the multiple voices emerging from this artistic vision and vivid experience. It is a celebration of diversity, creativity, and belonging.
The exhibition was possible under the leadership of Gustavo Camacho, Socio-cultural Director, and coordinated by Léo Paez, with the support of Raul García and Jane during the installation. First presented in June, it continued through the summer at the Prisma Lab at the IDB, where it was a tremendous success. Today, the exhibition is installed at the IDB Family Association Headquarters in Bethesda, where all are warmly invited to visit and experience the work up close.
This is also how we wish to close and thank the year 2025 — by sharing the artistic contributions and creative spirit of our members.
