Painting Together

In our second session with Julio Navarro - the artist Lulo, the Art Club focused on painting through a hands on exploration of acrylics. Working with three layers of paint and primary colors mixed by the participants themselves, the group engaged deeply with technique while allowing color to emerge organically.

We welcome back Jes Corredera and Leo Paez, whose presence reinforced the sense of connection, diversity and family. The session resulted in beautiful studies of light and shadow in acrylic painting supported by the color theory introduced by Lulo last semester.

Once again, the experience showed how art brings people together, blending learning, creativity, and shared presence.

We also took a moment to say goodbye to Carmita Jaramillo, a long time contributor to our association. We wish her every success and hope to meet again soon, either in our country offices or back in DC.

Good luck, Carmita.

Warm regards from all of us!
