Mandala as Structure: Circular Balance in Art

About the Class

Balance will be explored as a visual and compositional principle. The mandala is used as a structural framework, with references to circular compositions and cathedral rosettes. The session begins with a brief introduction and poetry reading, followed by a hands-on art experience focused on form, rhythm, and balance.

Participants will create an original circular artwork during the class.

Materials

An art supply bar will be available, allowing participants to choose their preferred medium:

• Colored pencils

• Acrylic markers

• Watercolors

All materials are provided.

• No prior art experience required
