Creative Grids

We had another wonderful session at the Art Club with Julio Navone, filling four tables with creativity and energy. Most participants returned from the first class, while others joined for the first time, keeping the circle vibrant and complete.

This class marked the conclusion of our exploration of color theory, and it was truly spectacular. Julio guided us in working with complementary colors and in filling a freehand grid without fixed measurements or rigid rules.

From there, we began to build color structures, learning about styles and discovering which combinations create the most harmonious effects, always following the teacher’s direction. We followed these tips, which you can see in the pictures below by.

As we continued painting after the first combination of colors and contrasts, the mixtures became increasingly complex.

Even so, the participants gave their very best, and everyone left the session feeling valued and appreciated.

We also had an amazing experience by guessing the colors of the dress!!! We had people seeing white and black, blue and golden. A truly optical experiment.

We are deeply grateful to Julio for his inspiring teaching and to all who joined us. The joy of each participant as they shared their artwork at the end of the session was truly rewarding to see.
