Ink is The New Thing
What a fabulous workshop we had today!
Irene Pantelis brought all her expertise as a teacher and artist to give us a joyful and relaxed workshop with watercolors and ink.
We played looking to the water running while making unusual forms. We colored with brighter blues, greens and yellows to see how it would turn out, but most importantly we had fun creating without any concern.
Some people preferred abstract forms while others decided create something more literal. Basically, we used artifacts as “muse” to inspire us. Most of them where from teacher’s travels archive. I, personally, loved the use of other kind of material, such as printmaking paper and velour! By the end, we were all full of happiness, despite of the rainy day.
We also had pleasure meeting and interacting with 4 new members:
